The world as we know it has changed, in what feels like overnight. As the negative impacts of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) evolve, remote working arrangements for IOOF staff are in place and are likely to continue for the foreseeable future, with many continuing to support our valued advisers from their homes. Across the business, our people have adapted to new ways of working with many front-line staff reconfiguring their face-to-face meetings and workshops into one-to-one meetings and a series of live and recorded webinars. Our people are staying connected and continue to deliver valuable support services to our advisers and their clients. The feedback has been extremely favourable and is an excellent example of not only collaboration, but IOOF’s ability to adapt to changing circumstances utilising the best technology which is available. Rest assured we remain committed to conducting business as usual and delivering the best outcomes for you and your clients.
IOOF is an advice-led business and we remain committed to advice and continuing to work together to support you and your clients through these unprecedented times. We’re doing this by demonstrating to more clients the value of advice and by creating sustainable and efficient advice businesses to ensure we are well-positioned for the future.
We understand the importance of advice and we’re in it for the long haul. I believe this makes IOOF the best place to be during a time of significant uncertainty and change. I would personally like to thank you for your ongoing support and the resilience you continue to show. I hope you and your families stay safe and let’s continue to look out for one another.
