Lifetime support

You can take your IOOF Employer Super account from job to job and through to retirement without incurring capital gains tax, other transfer costs or inconveniences. We are one of only a handful of plans to offer this feature, which is extremely beneficial to you – especially at retirement.

Managing your super

Do the insurances automatically apply when an IOOF account is opened for me?

Yes, the default insurance will be automatically applied when your new account is established by Adobe.

As Adobe have advised they will pay the premium for your insurance in addition to super guarantee contributions, this means no minimum age or account balance must be met to have insurance applied.

This applies even if you only plan to use your IOOF Employer Super account to receive the insurance cover. However, under PMIF legislation if Adobe cease to pay for your cover (such as if your employment ends) we can only provide you with cover if you are over 25 and have a balance over $6,000, or if you elect for us to continue to provide you cover.

IOOF offers great family benefits and this extends to IOOF Employer Super, where your spouse and immediate family members can enjoy the same benefits as you, including applying for insurance through their own IOOF Employer Super account.

This form is to be completed by you, an existing member of IOOF Employer Super, and the family member who wishes to become a member of IOOF Personal Super.

Before completing this form, the Trustee or your licensed financial adviser is obliged to give you the IOOF Personal Super Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) which is a summary of important information. The PDS will help you to understand the product and decide if it is appropriate to your needs. Family Members are eligible to receive the same fees and features that you already enjoy through your IOOF Employer Super account (please note: discounted fees don’t apply for MySuper members).

Eligibility: An immediate family member includes a spouse (whether of the same sex or a different sex), child, sibling or parent of an employer sponsored member.

IOOF Employer Super offers a default MySuper Investment option, IOOF Balanced Growth. The lower cost Core Menu includes a range of diversified and multi-manager investment options and the Full Menu encompasses more than 400 managed investments.

In addition, there are listed investments on the S&P/ASX300 Index, other listed investments approved by the Trustee and a selection of maturing investments.
