A data feed is a way of sending up to date information regarding your clients’ portfolio from Evolve to third-party financial planning tools.
All products operated on the Evolve technology platform will be supported including:
This will be available for you to select on your Financial Planning Software as “IOOF Group” data feed.
The feed utilises the latest version of the EPI 4.3 industry standard. EPI refers to External Platform Interface, the widely accepted industry standard for sending data from investment platforms to financial planning software, meaning we can provide data to any software the accepts the feed.
Over the past 12 months we have been working closely with providers to upgrade to EPI 4.3. If you provider does not currently accept this format, ask them to reach out to us at DatafeedSupport@ioof.com.au and IOOF can assist.
We currently have arrangements to send to: XPLAN (IRESS) AdviserLogic MyProsperity PlatformPlus PlutoSoft SYNCRM
To register for data feeds, you are required to accept the terms and conditions, and enter your IOOF Online password to finalise.
Now that you are set up at our end, contact your preferred financial planning software provider to add the ‘IOOF Group’ feed.

On migration weekend IOOF will provide all financial planning software providers with a mapping file that outlines previous Pursuit account numbers and new Evolve account numbers. This will enable them to link accounts. Your financial planning software provider will be able to assist you with directions to ensure your accounts are correctly mapped.
Yes, the data included in EPI 4.3 will allow your financial planning software provider to generate performance reporting for migrated clients. Your financial planning software provider will be able to assist you with directions to generate these reports.
Similar to an in-specie transfer, all transactions and active holdings have been provided to your financial planning software provider at the date of migration and will include the tax date of the original purchases.
The data included in EPI 4.3 will allow your financial planning software provider to generate CGT reporting for migrated clients. Your financial planning software provider will be able to assist you with directions to generate these reports.
