Majority of IOOF products now have QROPS status

IOOF has increased the number of products with Qualifying Regulated Overseas Pension Scheme (QROPS) status from 2 to 12 products.

This means the UK tax authorities have granted the majority of IOOF super products QROPS status.

IOOF Head of Product & Marketing Nick Everingham says a member of IOOF can make a UK pension transfer into one of the products with QROPS status without the UK tax consequences.

"We didn't want to restrict the IOOF products that people could transfer their UK pension funds into, so we now have QROPS status for the majority of our products," he said.

Below is a list of the IOOF products that can now receive transfers from UK pension funds

*IOOF Portfolio Service Personal Superannuation and Pursuit Select Personal Superannuation already had QROPS status.
