To be appointed to our Trusts, managers must demonstrate they have an investment edge that is sustainable. They have also been carefully selected for their evident management styles and specialist sector knowledge.

IOOF’s MultiMix investment team conducts regular and thorough manager and market research to identify new opportunities and optimise the performance of our portfolios.
Diversification
The Trusts are diversified across a wide mix of traditional and non-traditional asset classes and investment strategies. Five of our Trusts are diversified within asset classes, across investment styles and across investment managers. This extensive diversification aims to mitigate risk and reduce volatility in fluctuating market conditions.
Market monitoring and portfolio re-balancing
IOOF’s MultiMix investment team constantly monitors the investment markets for opportunities. They look to increase investments that have become cheap or reduce risks through selling investments which have become expensive. If there are no valuation extremes, the Trusts are rebalanced to ensure that they are in line with their target asset allocations.
