Australian Executor Trustees

Australian Executor Trustees (AET) is the amalgamation of four trustee companies and has been providing trustee services to Australians since 1880.

Within AET, there are three divisions:

Estate and Trustee Services provides trustee services to individuals:

  1. Estate planning, Wills and powers of attorney
  2. Estate, trust and financial management
  3. Philanthropy

All of these specialist services can be unbundled.  This simply means that you retain your relationship with your trusted adviser (financial advisers, lawyers, accountants, etc) and AET works in partnership with them to help you achieve the best possible outcome.

The Corporate Trust division provides corporate trustee services to the financial services industry, such as acting as custodian for managed investment schemes and trustee for securitisations, structured finance transactions, note and bond issues, as well as providing processing and escrow agent services.

The Superannuation division is one of the only providers in Australia to offer both small superannuation solutions.

  1. The Private Super Fund is a small APRA fund that allows you to run your own super fund but with the assistance of a professional trustee company – AET.
  2. The AET SMSF is a self-managed super fund establishment and administration service that helps you establish your own superannuation fund and provides administration and portfolio management services to help you keep on top of your super. Unlike a SAF, with an SMSF, you are responsible for the compliance of your fund.
